6.6/10

The hotel has a lot of character and the gardens truly provide a nice escape after a busy day in Cairo. The staff were kind and attentive, which made the stay enjoyable. However, the rooms are quite dated and appear in need of some upkeep. The dining experience left much to be desired due to slow service and cold food at times.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were old and dusty, but they were mostly clean. I had a non-smoking room which unfortunately had a lingering cigar smoke odor. It felt a bit uncomfortable at times.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They seemed genuinely caring and were always trying their best, despite language barriers with some of the housekeepers.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated quite near the pyramids, making it a convenient location for sightseeing. However, getting around the area in the evenings was challenging due to traffic.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was decent and enjoyable, but I had a few experiences where the food was served cold, which definitely dampened my dining experience.
Facilities
7.0
The gardens were the highlight of the facilities, offering a peaceful retreat, while the pool area was lively with events like karaoke, which added a fun touch to the stay.

5.0/10

The hotel has a picturesque appearance, but the reality is a bit off. The rooms feel outdated and require maintenance, and while the staff is friendly, the overall service and dining quality leave much to be desired. On the plus side, the grounds are nicely kept, providing a pleasant atmosphere, especially when relaxing outdoors. The value for money isn't quite there with the additional costs like Wi-Fi, and the dining options could certainly use an upgrade.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were tired and in need of updating, with hard beds and pillows. They could have been satisfactory if not for the worn-out furnishings.
Service
5.0
The service was inconsistent; the staff at the pool were slow, and I had a concerning experience with my credit card at dinner that raised some red flags. However, there was one instance of prompt assistance when I needed help.
Location
5.0
The hotel is somewhat isolated with limited surrounding options. Most activities require transportation, which can be inconvenient.
Dining
5.0
The dining offerings were repetitive and just okay. The buffet lacked variety, particularly at breakfast, which could definitely use more choices to make it feel more substantial.
Facilities
6.0
The grounds were well-maintained with lovely landscaping, but the facilities in the rooms themselves need significant improvements.

5.0/10

The resort has some beautiful surroundings and a secure environment, but unfortunately, the service fell short and left much to be desired. The rooms, while basic, could use an update and more attention to cleanliness. Dining options were disappointing, and the access to the outside world is quite limited. If you're mainly using it as a base to explore the nearby attractions, it might be worth considering.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were clean but quite dated, with a need for deeper cleaning. They included nice patio chairs outside, but overall, they could really use an update.
Service
5.0
Service was lackluster; we often waited a long time for orders, and staff seemed untrained and unprofessional. We faced issues like a non-functioning air conditioner and no follow-up on our requests for room maintenance.
Location
6.0
The resort is fairly isolated, requiring a car or taxi to get to nearby attractions. It's not very walkable, but it is conveniently close to the pyramids, which is a plus.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite poor, and breakfast was particularly disappointing. It felt monotonous with no variety in choices.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities, while having a nice pool area with a scenic view, felt limited in terms of space, and there were issues with maintenance.

6.8/10

The hotel is quite sprawling and offers decent amenities, with a lagoon pool and basketball court, but it feels a bit dated. The gardens are lovely and well-maintained, and it's very close to the Pyramids. However, the dining options could be better, and staff training leaves something to be desired. If you’re planning to spend most of your time outside exploring, it’s an acceptable choice at a reasonable price.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are large and clean, but a bit outdated. Our room didn't offer full privacy as it looked out onto another building.
Service
5.0
Service was generally lacking; staff seemed untrained and unhelpful at times, especially the cleaning staff.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic, just minutes away from the Pyramids, though it's somewhat isolated with no other nearby dining options.
Dining
6.0
Dining was quite variable; some meals were good while others were disappointing, and not all restaurants were open.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities include a nice pool and well-kept gardens which are enjoyable, but the seating area could get crowded during peak times.

My experience at Jaz Pyramid Resorts was fantastic overall, with incredibly helpful staff and an excellent variety of food at the restaurant. The spa facilities were also a highlight, particularly the Oriental massage I received. However, I found the rooms to be outdated and less maintained, which took away from the overall experience. The location is convenient for visiting the Pyramids, but it could use some improvements for accessing the surroundings more easily.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and comfortable but felt quite outdated and could definitely use modernization. The lack of working phones was inconvenient, though they did have mini fridges.
Service
Location
7.0
The hotel's location is decent for visiting the Pyramids, but the road to the hotel needs repairs, and evening access wasn't very tourist-friendly.
Dining
8.0
I really enjoyed the variety of food available at the restaurant; breakfast was particularly good with plenty of options, although I wasn’t a fan of some dinner selections.
Facilities
9.0
The spa facilities were excellent and provided a much-needed relaxation experience; I loved my massage and recommend it highly.
